A Busy Time For Me

It’s been a very busy week for me, with things happening away from the computer. So I’ve not really had time to blog, or tweet, or research a new article. It also means that I’ll be spending the weekend, and probably much of next week, catching up with myself – both on and off line. In fact I’ll probably be so busy that I’ll meet myself coming back from the other direction!

An old friend of mine has just given me a laptop which is fairly old but still in good working order. I’ve never owned a laptop before. What I intend to do is connect it via Wi-Fi; assuming that I can work out how to do it. Otherwise, I’ll have to spend time asking what may appear to be silly questions on my ISP’s forum. I’m a total neophyte where connecting wirelessly is concerned. And, before I can even try to do that I’ll have to clean out everything that’s on it. To save time I’ll probably just reinstall the OS and start from scratch.

As you can see, I’m going to be very occupied. Hopefully I’ll find the time to log-on to my desktop each day and check around all the usual sites I regularly visit. But I can’t guarantee that I’ll have time to answer many emails, so please bear with me until I get back to normal.
