Really this is just a note to say that, as you’ve all probably heard by now, the phone hacking scandal still continues to make the news headlines here in the UK. It’s also reported that it’s crossed The Pond with the FBI investigating the possibility that the phones of the victims of 9/11 might have been hacked.
New revelations emerge every day, almost hourly, and I can no longer keep up with them all. But, next Tuesday I shall be watching the Murdochs and Brooks appearing before the Parliamentary Committee. It’s not that I think they’ll say very much, citing the legal inquiries as their excuse, but that in itself is revealing. If they try to stone-wall it will simply add more condemnation of them all and poor more scorn on their reputations.
On a different note, I’m also trying to complete another article – this one will be about the Ancient Druids. As soon as it’s done and uploaded to my site I’ll blog, and tweet, the link.
Meanwhile I’m reduced to having to watch Sky News today as journalists at the BBC are on strike. Not that I dislike Sky News, what I really dislike are the regular adverts! I’ll also add that they have been very independent on their reporting even though they’re part of BskyB, so well done to them for that.
And now, back to watching the news.
