New Article Ideas

It’s been almost three weeks since I last posted to this blog, but I’ve been busy researching some articles, and doing other things – although I’ve yet to actually sit down and write any of the articles I’m intending to post on my new site. This time they won’t all be about cryptozoology or UFOs and their alien inhabitants.

Some of my future articles will be about people and legends, and items, from British mythology. Plus, I have a few other ideas that I want to write about. But, how long it will be before I get any of them written, and posted, I’ve no idea.

Currently time is running away with me, although with two long weekends almost here, (Easter and then the Royal Wedding), they should give me some free time to at least get started.

I’ve also had another computer problem, or possibly not! After one long day over the weekend I found that none of the shortcuts on my desktop would work. And I couldn’t open my computer event logs, or access other things. Either they didn’t open, or they would eventually open after an extremely long wait, or I’d just get a white window with no text. I’d been running an anti-virus scan, and using other security software, and noticed that my CPU was showing a temperature of 100’C. Usually, and since then, it’s only running at around 35’C again and not giving me a problem. Of course when this sort of thing happens I cease to trust my computer and expect it to stop working! Maybe it just needs a good clean inside, so it will be off with the cover and out with the air blaster soon.

Wish me luck – I just hope I don’t have to replace the CPU, or Mobo, or Power Supply, or even the RAM as I only built this machine two years ago and I’d hope things would work for longer than that before they needed replacing!

But, if I’m offline for any length of time you’ll know what happened.
