New Grandchild

In the immortal words of Maggie Thatcher: "We are a grandmother."

My 5th grandchild, a little girl, was born by caesarian section at 15:18 this afternoon. She weighed in at 7lbs 3 oz, and is to be called Brooklyn. Both mother and baby are doing very well.

This is great news, and I'm very happy that it's all over - she was almost 2 weeks late! So here's to little Brooklyn and her proud parents. Congratulations to them, and long life to baby.
